  1. Casey and myself went on Thursday morning to talk with the early College teachers about the exhibit. We wanted to know what they knew about it the event as well as the atom, which wasn't much. However, that may work out to our advantage, so we are able to provide them with new information without any preconceived notions about what the atom is. They were a little confused upon hearing that we wouldn't be there during the exhibit, but we explained to them that what to do at each station will be very clear. They evened asked if we could provide some sort of instruction for them in the classroom beforehand.
So things to do before the exhibit:
    - come up with some sort of instruction, whether a sheet, a slideshow or a video (just a minute or 2) to give the teachers beforehand.
    For the exhibit:
    -Your groups individual model
    - the box for the timeline, with your groups sheet of paper (110) squares of construction paper should work)
    The box should include:
    - a place for the students to put their slip of paper
    - the "highlights" of your model, that would allow for students to distinguish between them, but not give them away.

    Questions:
Would someone like to visit the classroom again to discuss more with the teachers? or even the classes?
What kind of follow-up information/assessment will we be giving the classes for after they visit? A glogster?

  2. It appears that you have a great start here.
    We have some questions:

    Exhibit set-up
From the discussion on Tuesday it appears that some things will be need to be done by the museum.
    1. How many tables? I heard five (5) but I do not know.
    2. Are you planning to hang anything? The museum designer will need to know. Contact Linda Chandler at kivac2000@yahoo.com with you plans and if you need assistance.

    Preparation
    1. How many students will participate?
    2. What date/times will students visit the exhibit?
    3. Will they visit as small groups/whole class?

    Post Exhibition
    1. Who will be responsible for dismantling the exhibit?
    2. When will the exhibit be dismantled (keep in mind that the museum is extending a courtesy for you to exhibit there)?
    3. How/when will you communicate to Richards/Deneroff the outcome of the student assessment activity?

    1. 1. 5 tables
      2. No, no groups are hanging anything.

      1. 102 students
      2. Ms. Grimes - 3 students
      3. individual classes, 20 or so students at a time

      1. Plan A: We as a group will dismantle if they all come before the 6th, but Plan B: if they come after the 6th, the professors will remove them.
      2. After the teachers have visited, as of this moment, Ms. Riley hasn't given us a date.
      3. The professors will take our assessment boxes.

  3. As a point of reference, all 17 members of the CIA cohort met at 10:30AM on Tuesday December 4th to discuss our groups progress and where we are going as a whole and collaboratively responded to your follow up questions.
